Ruby garnet in color with a strong cherry nose, taste is of cherry, minerals, earth, and spice, a smooth red wine from Sardinia with an elegant medium finish. This Italian red should improve with age (additional 8-10 years aging suggested).


  • Pairing: Wine and food pairing matches include stews, wild game, poultry, pasta, anything with tomato based sauces, dried cured meats, fine Sardinian cheese such as taleggio and tuma, casu marzu, pecorino sardo, and caprino.
