2010 Poggiobello Pinot Nero Colli Orientali del Friuli


Poggiobello Pinot Nero from the region of Friuli is a full bodied dry red wine. Aromas include raspberries, ripe red fruit and tree fruit as well as earth. Flavors carry nicely from the nose, this full bodied red has pronounced tannins, a velvety impression, and long lasting finish. Nice addition to wine and cheese gift baskets.

Pairing notes: wine and food pairing suggestion includes pasta dishes with meat sauce, grilled lamb, and medium aged cheese.
