Riparosso is ruby red in color with violet accents (while young), while as it matures it takes on a darker hue. Enticing and alluring  aromas include wild blackberries, ripe red fruit, pepper, spice leather and licorice. Flavors carry from the nose with precision; this Montepulciano d Abruzzo is full bodied, well balanced, with excellent depth, clarity and character. Smooth, dry, and long lasting finish.Impressive wine at any price level.
