Castello delle Femmine

Bright ruby red clear color with aromas backing characteristics of both grape varietals respectively (black Pallagrello and Casavecchico) of fresh fruit, raspberries, almonds, oak, and herbs; flavors carry forward from the nose nicely. This Italian red wine from Campania is very well balanced, with a slight fruitiness yet retains a dry clean long finish as you would expect. Castello delle Femmine name means castle for the women and is a homage to a local ruin (castle) which was host to Courtesans in training to gather professional training in the art of Love.
